Welcome

Baby on Board

If you are just starting your parenting journey, congratulations! It is an amazingly beautiful, alien like period of time you are about to experience. It has been said before that no one can prepare you and I believe I understand that now, because this journey is 100x unique to you. Even though I can't predict your coping skills, pain management level, and emotional response to labor. I can be by your side educating you in evidence-based techniques, providing knowledge you'll need prior to and after delivery, and lending you my confidence, because you are going to kick a** through this experience. If you are searching for a doula, hi, it's me.

I'm your doula.

The Postpartum Experience

Being human is hard, being a parent is harder.

I understand that in a world that says, "it takes a village," not everyone has one.

I started Mommy Meltdown Perinatal Services when I was struggling and battling self-imposed ideals of marriage and parenthood. The "I won't do that when I'm a parent" realizations, that yes, I'm doing "that"...

I've had days when it all seemed so easy. I multi-tasked and conquered, the day would start at 5 and I could still keep moving with intention at midnight. But with the extreme highs come the lows, and the juggle of momming all day, then finding time for movement, hobbies, and personal goals during the night caught-up to me. I've been where you may be now and I can say without a doubt, you can be heard, you can be found again, and we can find the way to making it all work.

For a limited time I am scheduling birth support at a special rate - send me a message to secure a spot!

I am so thankful to Sage with Mommy Meltdown for seeing my post on a Facebook group and offering to come out very last minute to help me get caught up on some cleaning to surprise my SO while he was gone on a trip and after I had gotten behind from having my most recent baby and suffering from a chronic illness. She was so kind, compassionate, and helpful when I needed it the most.  She helped me get to areas of my home that had been neglected.  My SO was surprised and so happy when he got back from his trip.  Sage offers such an important service to mommas in our community and I'm so glad for her help.
